Who We Are

Our History

The Diaspora Community Projects –Kenya (DCP- Kenya) is a registered NGO under the society’s act 1968 of the Kenyan constitution which aims to support and empower marginalized groups of people through employment opportunities for individual growth and development. 

As Unemployment rate in Kenya continues to grow with its worrying effects taking a toll on the youth, their families, the society and the economy at large,  We  at DCP- Kenya create a platform for training unemployed youth and women on sustainable ways of creating income. Over the years, DCP-Kenya mandate has expanded to cover environmental restoration, protection and improvement in the lives of marginalized.

The organization was founded in 2012 with the vision of creating employment for the youth and women through various projects that will uplift them overcome challenges in life and actively participate in the formation of their society, we collaborate with Kenya diaspora communities, donors and stake holders to empower the marginalized.

DCP – K works in partnership with private sector and government in creation for job opportunities for the Youth and Women in the spheres of  socio, economic and individual development through implementation of projects that focus three thematic pillars; Economic empowerment, Sustainable environment and Social wellbeing.
